It's the event with the Salesian Youth Sports Clubs, better known as PGS, which officially opens memberships for the 2025/2026 sports year from August 20th to September 30th. A short but important period to launch a new journey of sport, inclusion, and growth. Because PGS is more than just sport. It's training, it's education, it's a lifestyle.

Actors for one night, protagonists forever. When theater becomes a dream come true in Giurdignano. There's a magic that only theater can ignite. A spark that begins timidly in the classroom and transforms into light, voice, and emotion, before an audience that becomes silent accomplices. This is what happened last night in Piazza Municipio in Giurdignano, when the fifth-grade students of the elementary school staged a play freely based on Alessandro Manzoni's masterpiece, The Betrothed.

Something extraordinary happens every time the school leaves the classroom and meets the community. It has happened—or rather, it's about to happen—in Giurdignano, where the very young students of the fifth grade elementary school are preparing to take to the stage in Piazza Municipio on Sunday, July 13th at 9:00 PM, with a theatrical performance freely based on one of the cornerstones of Italian literature: Alessandro Manzoni's The Betrothed.

There are places born with a silent yet powerful mission: to make children's eyes sparkle and adults smile. Hydruntumlandia is one of them. A name reminiscent of history and fantasy, a small universe that every summer in Otranto lights up with lights, colors, and wonder. In the heart of the city, where sport meets fun, this temporary playground has become a tradition. But calling it just a "playground" would be an understatement. Because Hydruntumlandia is a celebration of the imagination, a hymn to childhood, a collective embrace that unites families, laughter, and magic.

For years, it has been a go-to place for those seeking taste, warmth, and a touch of French elegance in the heart of Salento. Today, it writes a new chapter in its history with the opening of its new store on Viadotto Idro. This opening is not just a physical expansion, but a declaration of intent: to look forward, without ever forgetting where we started.

July 10, 2025 will be a date to mark. One of those that, in a few years, we will remember as a watershed: from that day on, Instagram will begin to make public photos and videos searchable by Google (and potentially by other engines), complete with captions, tags and - above all - visual context.
