Actors for one night, protagonists forever. When theater becomes a dream come true in Giurdignano. There's a magic that only theater can ignite. A spark that begins timidly in the classroom and transforms into light, voice, and emotion, before an audience that becomes silent accomplices. This is what happened last night in Piazza Municipio in Giurdignano, when the fifth-grade students of the elementary school staged a play freely based on Alessandro Manzoni's masterpiece, The Betrothed.

Something extraordinary happens every time the school leaves the classroom and meets the community. It has happened—or rather, it's about to happen—in Giurdignano, where the very young students of the fifth grade elementary school are preparing to take to the stage in Piazza Municipio on Sunday, July 13th at 9:00 PM, with a theatrical performance freely based on one of the cornerstones of Italian literature: Alessandro Manzoni's The Betrothed.
