Se c’è una cosa che il Salento insegna ad agosto, è che la musica non è solo un ascolto: è un’onda d’urto che si posiziona dritta al centro del petto. Il 22 agosto 2026 abbiamo deciso di lasciarci travolgere completamente da quest'onda, portando tutta la nostra famiglia a Melpignano per il celebre Concertone della Notte della Taranta. Per Blogalmente, raccontare il territorio significa soprattutto raccontare le storie, le emozioni e le persone che lo vivono in prima persona. E quella di quest'anno a Melpignano non è stata una semplice serata di mezza estate, ma una vera e propria lezione di condivisione.

A journey into the soul of Southern Italy, through memory, images, and anthropological research: on July 24th, at 7:00 PM, the splendid Palazzo Marchesale in Melpignano (Lecce) will host the inauguration of the extraordinary exhibition "LA LINEA DEL SUD – Annabella Rossi dal Salento all'Antropologia Visiva" (THE SOUTHERN LINE – Annabella Rossi from Salento to Visual Anthropology). There are evenings when time seems to stand still, giving way to wonder, encounters, and profound reflection. Last night, Monday, July 13th, the historic stones of the magnificent Palazzo Marchesale in Melpignano provided the backdrop for one of those unforgettable moments: the event "Music and Medicine: History, Practices, and Perspectives." We at Blogalmente were there, and it was an extraordinary experience that we were fortunate and pleased to share with the young people of the Singeria Salentina APS Association. Together with them, we breathed in the energy of a special evening in a truly unique location, where the history of tarantism and modern science intertwined under the Salento sky.

Salento is not just a land of light, Lecce stone, and olive trees; for centuries, it has been an immense open-air laboratory where the human soul has sought—and found—its own unique path to healing.
