Today, May 5th, marks the anniversary of an open wound in the history of the twentieth century and, above all, in the memory of Briatico. On this same day in 1937, Francesco Barbieri, the Calabrian anarchist who chose to challenge fascism wherever it manifested itself, was brutally murdered in Barcelona. Theorist Camillo Berneri also died, in what went down in history as one of the darkest moments of the Spanish Civil War: the "May Days."

There's a quote from Lucius Annaeus Seneca that, two thousand years later, continues to dismantle one of humanity's most common alibis: "Luck doesn't exist: there's only the moment when talent meets opportunity." We often use the word "luck" to justify the success of others or to console ourselves for our own failures. But if we look closely, luck is less a roll of the dice and more an exercise in strategic preparation.

The real digital virus isn't fake news, but the rush to believe it. We live in an age of hyper-connectivity. We scroll, we react, we share. All in a matter of seconds. But there's a silent problem creeping in between notifications and sensationalist headlines: it's not the fake news itself. It's our rush to believe it.

In the landscape of offline advertising strategies, a proposal that reclaims the value of physical visibility and direct local impact stands out: advertising trucks. A simple yet powerful idea that brings the brand message to where people live, walk, and work. Stefano Coppola's Medialabo, a company with over 15 years of experience in advertising and outdoor marketing, has given it a structured form in Northern and Central Italy.

There are nights when sleep doesn't come. Or rather: the body relaxes, the eyes close, but the mind stays awake. In these days of persistent insomnia, I've found myself, almost inevitably, returning to a topic I studied extensively during my university studies in philosophy and humanities: dreams, and specifically what happens during the REM phase of sleep. Writing about dreams while sleeping little is only an apparent paradox. It's precisely when sleep is lacking that the mind reveals itself in all its intensity: thoughts that surface unbidden, fragmented images, memories that knock before the darkness even does its work. This is where this reflection was born, and it is where this article takes shape.
